Domain parking also provides your prospective clients with an easy and secure way to reach out to you with purchase offers, while allowing you to generate ad revenue.

Great question!
With free parking services the lions share of your ad revenue goes to the provider. In most cases it ends up bringing you significantly lower returns when compared with running your own advertisement on your own pages, particularly if you have advertisers who wish to pay for your ad spots. To confirm this, we have pointed our own domains to free parking providers and found that domains running on regular parking return an average of 80% less profit than when running ads on your own parking pages. In addition, you also get a wide range of features and services such as free SSL's, email boxes, and web forwarding.

Since maintaining this service is not very beneficial to you as discussed above, we instead decided to focus our efforts into creating a powerful platform that will allow you to create and manage your own ads thereby reaping 100% of the rewards.

We currently accept all major credit cards online, and if you wish to use another means of payment please contact us and we are happy to accommodate case by case exceptions and possibly even set up additional permanent providers.

You will receive your own unique name servers immediately after signing up with us.

Yes, you can create child name servers for your own domain, and they will work exactly the same way as ours. This is often requested by our REGISTRAR account holders, and it makes the registrar look more professional.

In two simple steps:
1. Sign up for an account at WildcardParking.com
2. Change your domain name servers to the ones assigned to your account with us.

Yes, as long as you use the nameservers assigned to you. If you use A records to point your domain instead, however, DNS will not work. We currently support the following DNS record types: A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, LOC, SRV, SPF, NS.

YWhatever template you set up for a top level domain will also resolve to any subdomains you assign.

Yes. Please send us an email with your domain list and current registrar for each domain. We will review your list, and request missing information for each registrar. We usually complete such tasks within 24-48 hours, unless there are issues related to some of the domains. When any issue found, we will let you know.
It is recommended before sending us your list, to make sure none of the domains are or very close to being expired.

We have ready-made templates which are available at templates. Our templates are specifically created to meet certain needs of beginner domainers, professional domains and registrars. These templates usually do not support editing and come as they are. We have also created a great page builder which allows you to easily create any template you wish, using our large selection of domain-related blocks.
If you ever have any trouble using it or would like to learn more, please drop us an email.

This really depends on the type of your account. Every account has it's own limits and we do run different promotions once in a while. So the best way to find this out would be to check your account settings.
If you ever need anything more than is provided with account of your choice, please let us know. We will be happy to hear your feedback!

There are many reason why and how, most of which would take pages to explain, but to put it short, we show 80-90% of unique content per domain. This makes every domain load it's own separate website, and this can not be anything other than good for SEO.

Yes. Even though we try to create ready-to-use templates for any domainer need, we understand there will always be a need for special customization. We do offer very competitive pricing on web development and design, which you can find here.

IDN stands for Internationalized Domain Name.
An internationalized domain name (IDN) is an Internet domain name that contains at least one label that is displayed in software applications, in whole or in part, in a language-specific script or alphabet, such as Arabic,Chinese, Cyrillic, Tamil, Hebrew or the Latin alphabet-based characters with diacritics or ligatures, such as French. These writing systems are encoded by computers in multi-byte Unicode. Internationalized domain names are stored in the Domain Name System as ASCII strings using Punycode transcription. More here...

We are working hard to make every single IDN show up on your parking pages in it's native language. Some IDNs are a bit tricky to work with, but so far we were able to make them work as they should.
In case you find an IDN showing up any other way than it is supposed to, please let us know!

No. We do not offer such service at WildcardParking.com. And this is done in order not to confuse our customers with different type of domain lists inside account.

Yes. If you wish to buy a shared hosting, VPS or dedicated servers, please contact us, let us know what you need it for, and we will even help you in choosing the best option for your needs.

Yes. Our REGISTRAR package comes with FTP access to your own server and allows you to upload any website. The requirements should be checked with our technical team prior to uploading. We will do our best to support any feature required to run your website.

In order to maintain affordable pricing on our services we have designed our packages specifically to handle traffic usual to domain parking. Parked domains usually get very light amount of traffic by itself. If you have a domain which gets enough traffic to make you worry about this, we'd say don't park it, make a business out of it. We'd even be happy to provide consulting and help with an idea. :)

SSL is a standard protocol to secure online transactions. Data transfer over a SSL connection is encrypted and only readable for the sender and receiver. SSL stands for Secure Sockets Layer.

You don't. Every one of your parked domains will automatically request, confirm, install and activate it's own SSL certificate. There is absolutely nothing you need to do to activate SSL certificates, and you can always switch them off for any domain you don't wish to protect for any reason.

Yes and No. Only main domains will be automatically receive an SSL certificate by default. That said, if for some reason you wish to get an SSL certificate for a subdomain, please send us an email and we'll take care of that for you. The subdomain will also receive it's own SSL certificate and it will also be FREE.

The SSL certificates we're using are provided by LetsEncrypt.
Let’s Encrypt is a free, automated, and open certificate authority brought to you by the non-profit Internet Security Research Group (ISRG).
We're very excited and happy to be able to offer this great opportunity for our customers to protect all their data with no complicated setup and maintenance involved.

In order for the SSL certificate to be requested, the domain should receive at least one(first) real visit. As soon as that happens the request for SSL certificate is created and will be requested with 24 hours.
If for some reason this process takes longer than a day, please contact us and we'll be happy to look into that.

Grey lock sign means the SSL certificate is deactivated for that domain. In 99.9% of the time this will happen when you click on the lock to manually deactivate the certificate. This can be undone simply by clicking on the grey lock and it will turn green and activate again. In case if this doesn't work for you, please let us know via chat or contact form.

The activation period for any certificate is 3 months. However this doesn't mean that you need to do anything to keep them active. We will automatically renew every SSL certificate before it expires. You will always have active certificates on every domain you have the certificate switched on, as long as LetsEncrypt is functioning the same way.

The orange lock sign means the SSL certificate activation is in processing stage. Be that new request, renewal or any other reason.
If you find this happen to your domains too often or for too long, please contact us via live chat or the contact form.

When https:// shows up grey in the browser bar this usually means that the page itself is protected but it contains links or blocks from unprotected source. This usually happens when a widget or a picture is linked using a http:// connection instead of https://.
Since we allow custom links and affiliate widgets on some of our templates, it is possible you might see this happening sometimes. We recommend to be careful with what you link to your pages in order to avoid such things.
In case you're not sure why this happens to your template, don't hesitate to contact us with detailed information on the problem, and we'll look into it.
